Alex came to real estate after a high-flying career in New Zealand and Australia working as an executive producer on a variety of metro and national radio shows. Every day Alex was tasked with managing a large team trying to capture the attention of a diverse group of people. Needless to say the sales, marketing, organisational and people skills he’s learned over the years translate incredibly well to commercial real estate.
Alex’s intimate understanding of the media and marketing world means he can offer his clients an edge that others can’t. Living locally in Silverdale Marie is passionate about the area and offers on-the-ground knowledge of the commercial real estate market to her clients. For those looking to sell or lease, Marie has her finger on the pulse of the local scene and is dedicated to using her expertise to assist vendors, landlords and tenants to contribute to the fantastic Hibiscus Coast community.
Marie has spent her entire career in the property industry – over two decades and counting - gaining a wide range of skills across the gamut of residential and commercial real estate. She started working for residential building company Universal Homes when she left school and stayed for twenty years. Over that time her roles included office administrator, customer service officer and residential sales consultant at Totara Views, Millwater and Hobsonville Point. She then moved on to working in administration for commercial real estate agents giving Marie extensive leasing and sales knowledge from multiple top agents along with valuable skills in the backend of property transactions.
Marie’s key strength lies in her in-depth experience with different types of commercial property classes, which means once she understands what her clients require for their business or investment she can then find them the perfect solution. Marie also works collaboratively as part of the Bayleys Silverdale Commercial team that leverages off Bayleys’ strong presence in the commercial sector across New Zealand. She aims to foster long-term relationships with her clients so she is not only thinking of their needs now but also into the future, always keeping her eye open for their next great property opportunity. In her spare time Marie enjoys walking, cooking (especially baking), travelling and spending lazy summer days at the beach. She loves spending time with friends and family – her husband and two daughters as well as the wider family unit.
