Property Description
Welcome to 108 Helston Road, a home loved and lived in by Graham and Pamela since 1976. Nearly 50 years of ownership speaks volumes about both the home and its exceptional location. Half a century of raising a family, soaking up all-day sun, and enjoying the peace and privacy offered by this generous mid-century property. If you know the area, you'll know how rare it is to find a solid mid-century weatherboard home of this size. Set on 942sqm of land with approximately 210sqm of floor area, this sundrenched beauty is a bright beacon for buyers searching for space, style, and substance.
Designed with thought and practicality, the home flows right through from a welcoming entrance foyer to a well-positioned kitchen overlooking the expansive back section. Space truly is the theme here. The flexible floor plan includes (but is not limited to) four generous bedrooms, two or three living spaces, a central family bathroom with both bath and shower, a separate W/C, and a separate laundry with direct access to several facilities at the rear of the property. We must also make mention of the HUGE double garage. The current owners even have previously consented plans for a further extension (all within the current structure), giving you options should you want them.
The enormous downstairs fourth bedroom offers incredible versatility. With its own external door to its own courtyard, it's ideal for a home office setup, or, if three bedrooms suit your needs-an excellent retreat for teenagers or extended family.
Entertainers will love the wraparound deck connecting to a sheltered paved courtyard-your perfect BBQ and summer-evening spot. Outdoor space surrounds the home, with easy drive-on access to the front door and extra off-street parking for multiple vehicles. Just be warned: the kids may see this as the ultimate hopscotch or tic-tac-toe arena!
Inside, new carpet and vinyl greets your feet, while polished native timber floors pay homage to an era when homes were built to last.
Well-zoned for schooling, well-connected via public transport, and just a quick hop and a skip to the Johnsonville precinct-what's not to love?
We look forward to seeing you here soon.

I feel fortunate to have grown up in a farming family on the outskirts of a small rural town in the Far North with Mum, Dad, and my three siblings. It is from these humble beginnings that sparked the satisfaction I feel from good, honest, hard work.
From becoming head boy of my High School, to accepting an offer to become part of the New Zealand Army as an Officer, then furthering my education at Massey University have all led me to where I am today. All these parts of my life have taught me skills such as teamwork, leadership, and time management among many others and provide a good base for my role.
I moved to Wellington over 17 years ago and pursued a career in Real Estate shortly after, having now had my license for over 16 years. A drive to carry out real estate at the highest level still lights a fire within me. I couldn’t think of a career I would rather be involved in. Any awards won or recognition garnered is just a bonus.
Outside of Real Estate, I live in Wellington with my wife Amy and my son Kiaan and Bo. Becoming a Dad has been my greatest achievement to date. I am a social person and have a good sense of humor – I have been known to pull a few harmless pranks in my time!
I find great enjoyment in physical exercise; I have represented to a regional and national level in Swimming, Rugby and Triathlons. Currently, I pursue Crossfit as an outlet for energy where I have competed among the best in NZ. Being a little older now, I would be the first to admit it is getting a little harder to compete with the guys 10 – 15 years my junior (especially trying to work through a long-standing niggling injury). My discipline, determination, and mental fortitude needed to succeed in sport carry directly through to the real estate industry, helping me to stay very focused throughout the sale until completion and achieve the best result for clients.
