Emily Smith combines hands-on farm experience with a solid real estate pedigree across three generations. Following in the footsteps of her mother and grandfather’s successful real estate careers, Emily is creating her own path in the industry by supporting clients to achieve their real estate goals. Emily began her career with Bayleys as a Personal Assistant in the Christchurch office residential team in 2021. Since gaining her REINZ licence, she made the move to her current position as Licensed Sales Consultant in Ashburton. Emily brings with her a solid practical knowledge of the farming sector, having grown up on the family farm in Central Otago and spent a year on an outback station in Australia as a governess. She honed her excellent customer service skills working for an animal health company in a client engagement and support role. Emily combines a can-do, hardworking attitude with the ability to build strong relationships within her community. She recognises the importance of clear and effective communication skills, ensuring the process of buying and selling goes as smoothly as possible. Emily says, “Buying or selling property is not something people do every day, and it’s a big deal. We understand that great communication is crucial to helping clients feel comfortable and helping them to get the outcome they want.” Emily is here to help, putting her passion for real estate and solid working knowledge into everything she does.
